The GC GROUP and the Italian family business Pressiani S.p.A. are on course for joint success in future. The contractual foundation for future cooperation between the two HVAC wholesalers was laid yesterday, 18 October, in Calco. The founding family that gave its name to the company will in future remain as shareholders. Silvia Pressiani and her father and company founder Mario Pressiani will continue to manage the business affairs of this well-established Italian undertaking. Pressiani S.p.A. can look back on over 40 years of competence and experience in Europe’s third-largest HVAC market. The company employs over 200 staff at its current total of ten locations. In addition, Pressiani is just now opening another branch in Milan-North. Mario Pressiani commented: “As a family business, we have grown steadily over the years. Cooperating with the GC GROUP will not only allow us to exploit additional opportunities and synergies, it also strengthens our position in an era of globalisation and digitalisation.” Uwe Niederprüm, partner with personal liability in CORDES & GRAEFE KG, the holding company of the GC GROUP, said: “Italy is a very attractive market which we have been tracking intensively thanks to our long-term cooperation with various manufacturers.
